The app is designed to help you photograph parking signs, read sign text on device, confirm parking rules, and create local reminders and countdowns.

• Text extracted from those images, such as street cleaning notices, no parking rules, permit rules, meter limits, weekdays, and time ranges.
• Reminder details you create, including countdowns, repeat times, parking notes, and rule templates.
• Optional location information if you choose to store a parking spot or use location-based features.
• Notification settings needed to deliver reminders on your device.
• Basic purchase records handled by Apple if you buy coins or other in-app purchases.

2. How We Use Information

We use this information to recognize parking rules, let you confirm or edit them, create reminder schedules, show countdowns, save templates, and improve the operation of the app.

We also use it to provide features you request, such as parking notes, multiple vehicles, multiple parking locations, and reminder histories.

3. Data Sharing

Kanefi is intended to work locally on your device whenever possible. We do not sell your personal information.

Some features rely on Apple platform services, such as the camera, photos access, notifications, location services, and in-app purchases. Those services are governed by Apple's own terms and privacy practices.

If a future version adds a service provider, we will only share the minimum information needed to operate that feature.

4. Storage and Retention

Your parking photos, rules, reminders, and notes are kept on your device unless you choose to export them, back them up, or save them through a system feature.

If you delete the app, local data stored by the app may also be removed from the device, subject to any system backup or export you created.

5. Your Choices

You can control camera, photo, location, and notification permissions through the device settings. You can also edit or delete saved rules, reminders, notes, and templates inside the app where available.

If you do not want the app to access a permission, you can disable that permission. Some features may not work without the related access.

6. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect the information handled by the app. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Children

Kanefi is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we do, the updated version will apply when it becomes available in the app or at PRIVACY_URL_PLACEHOLDER.
